COMETBUS FOUR-PAK by Aaron Cometbus

This new batch of Cometbus issues comes in mini-zine format, and is being sold together as a set of four. As a whole, they gather odds and ends from the recent and more distant past: essays, book introductions, articles, talks, poetry. Includes Cometbus Mail, collecting letters from throughout the years (with some commentary); East Bay Beat, which reprints Aaron’s introduction to Zak Sally’s Folrath, an essay from the 1999 Lookout Records catalog, and other misc. East Bay Oddities; Let’s Talk About the Mainstream, featuring a transcribed talk from Denver, an article on King-Cat (From the D+Q 25th Anniversary book), and lots more; and Pensacola, collecting work written in praise of his once-adopted-hometown, including one of the most beautiful and plain explications of punk I’ve ever read.

I hope it goes without saying that every new Cometbus is a cause for celebration. Aaron is one of the greatest writers to come from the punk underground, and his words are always a joy. Please note — the previously published articles/essays included here have been revised and updated for these editions. Highly recommended. (Cover Art by Mr. Mike.) 112 pages total, four booklets, 4.25″ x 6″. (Self-published)
